PHILOSOPHY SHOULD NOT BE A GATED COMMUNITY
Presentation at the American Philosophical Association Pacific Conference, arguing that merely making the humanities “open to the public” is not enough. This presentation provided a conceptual distinction between active public humanities and passive public humanities, as well as concrete guidance about how to reach publics outside of colleges and universities.
